Your agent owns its inbox

Unlike other platforms that connect to an existing Gmail or Outlook inbox, Custom Agents gives each agent a dedicated email address that it fully owns. No polling. No rate limits. No token revocation.

Webhook-native architecture

  1. Email arrives at the agent's address (e.g., support@yourdomain.com)
  2. AWS SES processes the message and fires an SNS notification
  3. The webhook reaches the API in sub-second latency
  4. The email is parsed into structured JSON: sender, subject, body, attachments, thread context
  5. The AI engine classifies intent and generates a response
  6. The response sends immediately or queues for review, depending on autonomy mode

On Starter plan and above, connect your own domain:

  • billing@yourcompany.com

Full DNS verification with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC — handled automatically for maximum deliverability.

Default domain

On the Free plan, agents use @customagents.io:

  • your-agent-name@customagents.io
